Downtown Social Club Best of 2009 Award to Trenton Kebab House at 226 East State Street, for its excellent menu, its Turkish coffee and its friendly staff with 38% of the vote.
Runners up included Passage Theatre at Front and Montgomery, Settimo Cielo at 17 East Front Street, the Shrimp Boat at 312 East State Street.
Passage Theatre won a coveted favorable review from the New York Times for their spring 2008 show, Celia's Tea Party.

Best Restaurant in Trenton 2008: Settimo Cielo recently opened downtown. Expertly cooked Northern Italian cuisine in a lovely setting. While not cheap, the food is fairly priced and the wine list (while selective) doesn’t gouge you either.
