Also, TDA’s Business Start-Up Grant Program intends to reduce the burden of start-up costs of opening a new business and reduce retail vacancies within the Downtown Trenton Special Improvement District.

The grant program will provide up to $5,000 per applicant for eligible start-up costs.

Entities eligible to apply for a Business Start-Up Grant include for-profit and nonprofit businesses opened within the last year and within the boundaries of the Downtown Trenton Special Improvement District. Eligible entities include businesses planning to open or who have already opened a physical location within the district. The grant program will provide up to $5,000 per applicant for eligible start-up costs.
