The Safety and Hospitality Ambassadors of the Trenton Downtown Association (TDA) are a friendly, visible presence dedicated to keeping Downtown Trenton clean, safe and welcoming. As part of TDA’s mission to strengthen local businesses and enhance the visitor experience, our Ambassadors serve as helpful, watchful guides to New Jersey’s capital city.
Ambassadors visit local businesses to check in, share updates and deliver TDA communications. They distribute flyers for upcoming downtown events, help merchants access city resources, and ensure that our business community stays informed and connected. Their ongoing outreach strengthens relationships and fosters a sense of collaboration across the district.
Ambassadors walk the district every work day to promote public safety and share their knowledge and information about downtown Trenton. They inform the TDA Clean Team of sidewalks that need maintenance, identify graffiti that needs removal, and report general quality-of-life concerns using mobile technology. If they encounter someone in distress, they assist with compassion and contact the proper authorities. Their visible presence helps deter unwanted behavior and encourages a sense of comfort for residents, workers and visitors.
Our Ambassadors are a go-to resource for directions, event information and recommendations on Downtown Trenton attractions. They know the neighborhood—its businesses, cultural spots and hidden gems—and they’re always ready to help out.
You’ll recognize our Ambassadors by their official TDA attire. When you see them walking through the district, feel free to say hello, ask a question or share a concern—they’re here to make your downtown experience better.
