Join marine conservation biologist Dr. David Shiffman for a conversation about myths and facts surrounding the conservation of sharks. Dr. Shiffman is the author of the soon-to-be-published book entitled "Why Sharks Matter," which discusses his work on shark conservation as well as his education and outreach experiences related to sharks. The talk will stream live over the New Jersey State Museum's Facebook page, just click on the event link at 2:00 pm. Part of the "Jaw Dropping World of Sharks" lecture series, talks take place at 2:00 pm on the second Saturday of each month through December.
