 “I want to make people feel better and look better. When you look better, it gives you more confidence and courage," says Downing.

"When you meet someone for the first time, you don't know what's going on in their lives. What problems and mishaps they may have," he says. "When they come here, they have a chance to open up and speak to someone, and they do. I have a heart, and God gave me the hands to cut hair."
