Dr. Richard Fernicola, author of "Twelve Days of Terror: A Definitive Investigation of the 1916 New Jersey Shark Attacks", will be in-person at the New Jersey State Museum to discuss his book on the shark attacks that occurred in 1916 along the Jersey Shore from Beach Haven to Matawan. Dr. Fernicola has amassed an archive of documents and interviewed witnesses to some of theses tragic events that led to deaths of four individuals.
This free talk will take place at 2 PM in the Museum's Riverview Court. It will also be live streamed on the Museum's Facebook page. This program is part of the "Jaw Dropping World of Sharks" lecture series, happening the 2nd Saturday of each month through December.
