Solar eclipses have inspired fear and fascination for thousands of years. On April 8, all of North America will get to experience a solar eclipse. Join us in the Planetarium for a preview! Learn about the history of our observations and understanding solar eclipses. Find out why eclipses happen, why they don’t happen every single month, and why they’re interesting to astronomers. Finally, get prepared for eclipse April 8, 2024! Attendees will receive a free pair of eclipse glasses at the end of event.
