Capital Singers Annual Spring Concert

Capital Singers of Trenton (CST) celebrates its 15th anniversary season with a commemorative concert, “Looking Back…Moving Forward,” at 4pm on Sunday, May 1, 2022 at Sacred Heart Church, 343 S Broad St, Trenton. The concert features a blend of familiar and new pieces, including a special commissioned work by Founding Artistic Director Richard M. Loatman. The concert will be highlighted by the premiere of A Peace Canticle, a new work commissioned for CST composed by Founding Artistic Director and Conductor Richard M. Loatman. Based on text from Psalm 122 and Tolstoy’s The Three Questions, the piece also includes original verses by Loatman and features the full choir, eight solo voices, narration, and piano duet.
