Climate Science: Visualizing Indicators of Our Warming Planet

Presented By:
New Jersey State Museum

Join us under the planetarium dome for a climate science talk by Dr. Zachary Labe. Dr. Labe is a postdoctoral research associate at Princeton University and NOAA GFDL.

Learn about the multiple lines of evidence that climate scientists use for monitoring and predicting global climate change. We'll first visualize the key indicators of human-caused climate change using real-world data and then discuss the origins of climate science, which dates all the way to the 19th century. Finally, we'll talk about the types of extreme weather and other climate impacts we might expect over the next few decades, especially here in New Jersey.

This event is free but registration is required to reserve a seat.
