Grab your rake and a pair of gloves and join us as we prepare for another season of programming at the museum!
On Saturday, April 6th, the Old Barracks Museum will be participating in the American Battlefield Trust’s Park Day event, and we are in need of volunteers to help with some spring cleaning on the grounds. We will also require the use of a truck for hauling away some larger logs, etc. There's plenty to do around the property, so if you are interested in getting your hands dirty for a good cause we would appreciate any help you can provide.
Volunteers should bring their own work gloves and rakes, and we will provide lots of coffee and donuts!
Volunteers will meet at the registration table at 9:00 am. Park Day will last until 1:00 pm but we are happy to have volunteers stay for all or part of the morning.
As a thank you to our volunteers, we will be offering a free tour of the museum after the event.
The museum will be closed to the public on Park Day.
While we encourage everyone to come and enjoy the Old Barracks Museum, we ask that volunteers be 12 and over for the safety of all participants.
