This month in our Small Explorers program we’re reading "Busy Day for Birds" by Lucy Cousins. We’ll take our exploring to new heights as we check out the feathers that help birds to fly in our “Written in the Rocks” exhibition. Make a felt bird to take home. Come take flight with us!

Small Explorers is a FREE program for local children age 5 and under and their families. Every month we explore a new theme through storytelling, museum objects, crafts, games, and playtime! Programs takes place in-person in the Museum. Please note we added a 12:15 program on this day.
