Small Wonders: Camping in the Forest

Presented By:
NJ State Museum

Join us for our final session of the season. We’re reading “Who's in the Forest” by Phillis Gershator, illustrated by Jill McDonald. New Jersey is known for its beaches, but we also have places to camp. Explore the animals of the NJ forest in the exhibition “Written in the Rocks.” Toast a marshmallow, catch a fish, find an animal track. Come explore the great outdoors with us.

Small Explorers is a FREE program for local children age 5 and under and their families. Every month we explore a new theme through storytelling, museum objects, crafts, games, and playtime!

Programs takes place in-person in the Museum.

Three sessions offered: 9:45 am, 11:00 am or 12:15 pm. Space is limited, registration required.
