Spring Lecture Series: The Revolutionary World of a Free Black Man

As part of the Spring Lecture Series, William Kidder will discuss Jacob Francis’s experiences as an indentured servant including his time as a soldier during the American Revolution, and later as a free man raising a family.

Lectures will begin at 6 pm, followed by a Q&A and book signing. Admission is free. Light refreshments will be available.Copies of these titles will be available for purchase in-store and online through the Quartermaster Store.​All proceeds go towards supporting the Old Barracks Museum and its mission.
