This is the final week for our free Summer Maker Space program. This week's program: Space Origami - Make Your Own Starshade. Drop by between 11 am and 2 pm; projects can take anywhere from 15 minutes to one hour.

Space Origami - Make Your Own Starshade

Test out origami techniques to learn how scientists use origami concepts to fold up large objects to send to space, then unfurl them in space. Explore the technology necessary for future generations of telescopes designed to discover planets around stars other than the Sun.
