Trenton Downtown Association is reopening the Capital City Farmers' Market in 2022 in a new location, to be determined. During the 2022 season, the market will sell fresh produce only. The market was canceled in 2020 and 2021 due to concerns over hosting a large-scale event in the midst of the pandemic. At the same time, TDA launched a Love Local Campaign to support the businesses in its district that needed all our love and support to survive. It was clear that the many farmers and other vendors who participate in the Capital City Farmers’ Market (CCFM) also needed our support.
In years past, CCFM attracted thousands of visitors to Trenton, boosting the health, spirit and economy of our community. Workers from the surrounding state/government offices and private businesses, as well as residents and tourists, looked forward to the lively event. When the market was paused, we reached out to each vendor and offered our support. We ask you to do the same.
How to Support Local Farmers and CCFM Vendors
We encourage you to buy fresh produce and other goods from our local farmers and vendors, especially while the market is closed. They need your support! They rely on income from farmers' markets and restaurants to survive.
A Message to Our Farmers and Vendors
We are fully committed to doing what we can to help you out. We are updating our directory of local farmers and CCFM vendors to post on our website.
If you would like to be included in our directory, send us an email to marketing@trenton-downtown.com.
